The CLC Writing Center wrapped up another successful round of Night Against Procrastination events on 11/19/24 and 11/20/24 π₯³π
Collectively among the three campuses, we had 36 participants: 32 students, 2 community members, 1 staff, and 1 faculty member. Of the 32 student participants, 16 were new students who hadnβt been to the tutoring/writing center during this semester πππ» Hopefully we see them around the center before the end of Fall 2024. π€
Many students appreciated the opportunity to work independently, while others took advantage and worked with the writing tutors at each campus. Overall, all our participants were able to get work done in one way or another: some did homework, some studied for upcoming finals, some made progress on writing assignments, and some just came for the snacks π
The Writing Center is happy and proud of the turn out this semester π We’re thankful to the students, community members, staff, and faculty for attending, and we’re thankful to the writing tutors from the CLC Writing Center who helped staff the event ππ» Weβre looking forward to hosting another Night Against Procrastination in the spring.
