Getting writing done can be hard in the best of times.  And these days, it’s even more challenging to sit down in front of the computer and focus.  We know. The CLC Writing Center team is here to help with an end-of-semester Write-In.

What’s a Write-In?

A Write-In is a community event where writers join together to get writing done—whether it’s for an hour or two hours or five—and help to keep each other accountable.  The idea is that when you are working with a group of fellow writers, it is easier to fight procrastination and keep your butt in your chair and your hands on the keyboard. 

We are joining writing centers from across the United States and abroad to offer space and support to encourage writers to tackle (and not procrastinate on) end-of-semester writing projects.   Our CLC Night Against Procrastination Write-In is open to any CLC students, staff, or faculty who want to make progress on a writing task.
