All writing support this semester will be offered virtually through our Online Writing Center.
You have two options when working with the Online Writing Center:
- ASYNCHRONOUS: Send us your paper and assignment sheet and we’ll send you written feedback via Google Docs and/or email.
- SYNCHRONOUS: Schedule an appointment and have a live Zoom video conference or Google Chat with a tutor.
To access the CLC Online Writing Center, go to the Tutoring Center tile on your Canvas dashboard and click the link to enroll in the CLC Writing Center course. Once there, you will find additional information and videos about how to submit your paper and/or schedule your session.

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Saturday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
NOTE: If you cannot access online tutoring services due to technical or other barriers, please know that the tutoring centers will be open at all three campuses to offer space and technical equipment to students on a limited basis.
Grayslake Campus: 8 am – 8 pm, Mon. – Thurs. / 8 am – 4:30 pm, Fri. / 10am – 2pm, Sat.
Lakeshore Campus: 9 am – 7:00 pm, Monday – Thursday
