CLC Writing Center Celebrates
National Day on Writing 2022

Help us celebrate writing in all its forms—from blog posts to academic essays to graffiti to love letters. Here are several options:

ONE:  Visit one of our promotional tables, learn about upcoming writing-related events, and chat with representatives from the writing center.

TWO:  Put a reason (or reasons) why you write on a #WhyIWrite handout.  Take a selfie (or have someone take a picture for you) with the handout. Then, share it on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.  Tag the CLC Writing Center.

THREE:  Grab a handout with just the hashtag #WhyIWrite on it and film a short video clip (5-20 seconds long) sharing a reason or reasons why you write. Post it on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Tag the CLC Writing Center.

FOUR:  Let our writing center tutors do one of the above for you and we’ll post it on our Facebook page and/or our Twitter and Instagram accounts.
